The right method
Butt welding or electrofusion?
Both methods create a homogeneous, permanent joint in PE pipe. The choice depends on diameter, site conditions and line type.
Butt Welding
Pipe ends are faced, melted on a heater plate and joined under pressure. No fittings are needed; it is the most economical method for large diameters.

Electrofusion
A fitting with an embedded resistance wire is heated by the machine’s current and fuses with the pipe. A fast solution in tight spaces, repairs and branch connections.
